Project Overview
Visible staining, faded colour, separated seams, and worn seating surfaces had all become part of the dinette booth. Restoring its appearance required addressing every type of damage as a single, complete restoration.
Visible staining, faded colour, separated seams, and worn seating surfaces had all become part of the dinette booth. Restoring its appearance required addressing every type of damage as a single, complete restoration.
Several different types of damage had to be addressed during the same restoration. The separated seams required reconstruction, stains needed to be removed, worn areas repaired, and the faded finish carefully restored so the entire booth looked clean and consistent. Because the seating was permanently built into the RV, all work had to be completed on site.
The damaged seams were reconstructed, stains removed, and the leather refinished with carefully matched colour. A protective coating was then applied to help reduce future wear and simplify routine cleaning, leaving the dinette with a clean, refreshed appearance.
We use our RV frequently, so the dinette had picked up plenty of wear over the years. The seats were stained, the colour had faded, and the whole dining area looked tired. I called a few repair companies, but most expected me to bring the RV to their shop. Having the work done right in my driveway was much more convenient. Everything was completed the same day, and the difference was incredible. The dinette honestly looks better than it did when we bought the RV used. The protective coating was a nice finishing touch, and I'm hoping it'll help keep the seats looking this good for a long time.— Robert Chen
