Project Overview
A child accidentally drew on the leather sofa and chair with a marker, leaving visible marks on the upholstery. The owners wanted to have the marks removed while keeping the original leather and its finish intact.
A child accidentally drew on the leather sofa and chair with a marker, leaving visible marks on the upholstery. The owners wanted to have the marks removed while keeping the original leather and its finish intact.
The tricky part was removing the marker without affecting the original leather underneath. The sofa’s tufting and the chair’s curved surfaces also meant the marks had to be treated carefully rather than simply scrubbed away.
The marker was removed from both pieces and the original leather was preserved. The colour, texture, stitching, and tufted details remained unchanged, leaving the sofa and chair looking clean and natural again.
I was worried the marker would leave permanent marks on the leather, especially on the sofa. Everything came out beautifully. You would never know the furniture had been marked up in the first place. The sofa and chair look great again.— Ryan Northcott
