The recliner had lost much of its original colour, particularly in the areas that received the most use. A noticeable stain had also developed on the headrest, where contact with skin and hair products had left the leather darker and more heavily soiled than the surrounding areas.
The headrest needed to be cleaned to remove the buildup. The faded colour across the recliner then had to be restored so the different areas would no longer look uneven.
The headrest was cleaned and the colour of the entire recliner was restored. The leather regained a deeper, more even colour, with the stained area blending back into the rest of the chair.
I’m very pleased with the result. The recliner had gotten pretty faded and the headrest was badly stained, so I wasn’t sure how much could actually be done with it. It looks so much better now. The colour is even again and the whole chair looks clean and well cared for.— Robert Wilkie
