Project Overview
A leather chair cushion had developed an open seam along one of the main seating areas after years of regular use. The stitching had gradually weakened, allowing the leather panels to separate and exposing the material beneath.
A leather chair cushion had developed an open seam along one of the main seating areas after years of regular use. The stitching had gradually weakened, allowing the leather panels to separate and exposing the material beneath.
The opening had become increasingly visible and made the cushion look worn despite the rest of the chair remaining in good condition. The goal was to restore the seam and improve the overall appearance of the seating area.
The separated sections were carefully realigned and restitched to restore the original shape and structure of the cushion. After the repair, the seam was securely closed and blended naturally with the surrounding stitching.
