A light-colored leather sofa had become heavily faded after years of exposure to sunlight and everyday use. The seating areas appeared noticeably lighter than other sections, creating an uneven appearance across the furniture.
The Challenge
Although the sofa remained structurally sound and comfortable, the faded finish made it look significantly older than it actually was. The owner wanted a more updated appearance without replacing the original furniture. The challenge was to create a consistent finish while completely changing the color of the leather.
The Results
The sofa was prepared, refinished, and recolored in a rich brown shade. After restoration, the furniture had a more uniform appearance, and the updated color gave the sofa a completely refreshed look while preserving the original leather.
