These three upholstered pedestal seats were part of a children's sports club display, with bright green numbers marking them as first, second, and third place. The black vinyl on the upper seating surfaces had developed deep cuts, tears, scratches, and heavy wear from daily use.
The damage was concentrated on the upper sections, where the vinyl had been cut through and worn down in several places. The replacement material needed to match the existing black vinyl in both colour and texture. PAV110 - EBONY was selected to match the original finish while providing the durability needed for daily use in a children’s sports club.
The damaged upper sections were reupholstered with PAV110 - EBONY vinyl, removing the visible cuts, tears, and heavy surface wear. The three pedestal seats now have clean, consistent tops while the original numbered design and overall appearance remain unchanged. The new commercial-grade vinyl is durable, easy to maintain, and suited to the demands of daily use by children.
We had some pretty bad tears and scratches on the pedestal seats, so they were looking rough. Now they look great again. The new vinyl matches really well, and everything looks clean and fresh. We’re very happy with how they turned out.— Charles Olsen
